Cookies

Our website uses cookies. These are packets of data sent by an Internet server to a browser, which are returned by the browser each time the browser subsequently accesses the same server Cookies are used to identify the user or track their access to the server. Cookies do not cause any harm. We use these cookies to make our website more user-friendly. Some cookies will be stored on your device until you delete them. They allow us to recognise your browser on your next visit. Server Log Files

When you visit our website, the browser used on your terminal device automatically sends data to our website server. This information is temporarily stored in what is known as a log file. In this process, the following data are recorded without your assistance and stored until they are automatically deleted:

     •  Name and URL of the file accessed,
     •  Website from which the website is accessed (referrer URL),
     •  Browser used and possibly your computer’s operating system and the name of your access provider.

The legal basis for data processing is Art.6(1) sent.1 lit f GDPR. Our legitimate interest results from the above listed purposes for data collection. We never use data collected for the purpose of drawing conclusions about you as an individual.

Email communication

Emails we receive
When you send us emails, they are tracked and stored to ensure that we can better tailor our communications to you. The data processing is limited to the email address and the personal data you provide, solely for the purpose of processing the subject of the email. If you send us an email, we will not process the data for marketing purposes or purposes of tracking the usage habits of individual users, unless the user explicitly consents to this or it is requested by them.
The Flasher GmbH expressly points out that data transmission on the Internet can have security gaps and cannot be completely protected against access by third parties.

Signing up to the Newsletter
You can to subscribe to our newsletter. To enroll you in our newsletter and contact you via it, we need your email address and your permission. When you subscribe online, we send you a confirmation email. You need to follow the link in the confirmation email to confirm your registration. 

Personalized Content
From time to time, we offer you the option to share personal data or other information with us (such as address, birthday). We collect this information through technical forms on our website or in an email we send you. If you willingly share such information with us, we will use it to personalize the messages we send you in order to make your experience and our addressing you as personal as possible. Filling in such forms is voluntary and you will be given the opportunity to consent to this processing before submitting such data to us. Our processing of the data is based on the legal provisions of Art 6 para 1 lit a (consent) and/or f (legitimate interest) of the GDPR. Our interest in terms of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our customer interaction and the provision of personalised content.
You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time. Just send your cancellation wish to info@flasher.tech. We will delete all your data associated with the newsletter subscription. Furthermore you can find an “unsubscribe” button at the end of every email you receive from us.

Marketing for similar products
If you have purchased a product in our store and have not objected to this at the time of purchase, we will send you marketing emails and information on similar goods from time to time on the basis of Section 174 (4) TKG 2001. Please send your objection to sales@flasher.tech.
You can also object to further communications of this kind in each email by unsubscribing from the emails in the footer of the corresponding email using the link provided there. This will not cause any disadvantage or additional costs for you. In addition, you can object to the sending of such advertising mails in advance by entering your email adress into the corresponding ECG list of the regulatory authority RTR-GmbH.

Analysis and Evaluation of Effectiveness
We use services of ActiveCampaign LLC, 1 North Dearborn Street, 5th Floor, Chicago, IL 60602, United States for the purposes of storage and processing of data obtained through one of the above processes (e.g. names, email addresses, postal addresses or online identifiers),. We have entered into an data processing agreement (DPA) with ActiveCampaign, in which ActiveCampaign undertakes to comply with the applicable legal requirements in connection with data processing. ActiveCampaign only processes data on our instructions and commissions no other companies to process the data.For the transfer of data from the EU to the USA, Google relies on so-called standard data protection clauses of the European Commission. This ensures compliance with the European level of data protection in the USA. Further information on how ActiveCampaign manages data can be found in the ActiveCampaign privacy policy.When using our domain, a site tracking cookie is stored in the user's browser, through which the user's interaction with the website can be collected. By evaluating this data, conclusions can be drawn about the usability of our website and the preferences of users in navigating our website. Users can object to the storage of this tracking cookie by deselecting the corresponding option in the cookie settings. The technical structure of these so-called first-party cookies also does not allow transfer between different websites in order to protect the security of users.As long as users do not transmit an email address to us, usage data is not recorded and stored. Only from the moment that the cookie is permitted for collection and an email address is independently transmitted to us by users simultaneously, can conclusions be drawn about the usage behavior of users.Collected information is used to improve our newsletter based on the technical data or the target groups and their reading behavior based on their retrieval locations (which can be determined using the IP address) or access times. We may also collect whether the newsletters are opened, when they are opened and which links are clicked. If a recipient replies to an email we send out, this information may also be collected as well as data from users who reply to such emails. Although this information can be assigned to individual newsletter recipients, the data is not evaluated for the purpose of observing individual users, but serves as a purely statistical value in an analysis of, for example, the reading behavior of all or several of our users. Based on these evaluations, we can adapt our content or send different content according to the interests of our users.

Unsubscribing from Email messages
You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time. Simply send your unsubscribe request to info@flasher.tech. We will then delete all data associated with the newsletter subscription, unless we are processing the same data lawfully for another reason of Art 6 para 1 DSG-VO.You will also find an unsubscribe link at the end of every newsletter you receive from us and can unsubscribe from email lists simply by clicking this link and confirming your unsubscription with another simple click.

Processing data relating to a contract

Shopify Onlineshop
We use the services of the online store service provider Shopify International Limited, Victoria Buildings, 2nd Floor, 1-2 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, D04 XN32, Ireland ("Shopify"). Shopify collects on our behalf the IP address as well as information (log file data, see above) about the end device and the browser used when our online store is visited. This data collection is used for web hosting purposes. The processing by Shopify takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR due to our legitimate interest in a secure and reliable presentation of all basic functions in our online store.Shopify also collects the name, email address, shipping and billing addresses, payment data and other data related to the purchase (including inquiries about and processing of warranty and performance claims, if any, and any statutory update obligations) when a purchase is made on our website. The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. b) GPDR in the context of the fulfillment of a purchase contract and our contractual obligations, if you voluntarily provide us with this information as part of your order. Mandatory fields are marked as such, since in these cases we absolutely need the data for the execution of the contract and we cannot send the order without these specifications. Which data is collected can be seen from the respective input forms.Shopify stores cookies on the end device so that Shopify can fully provide us with its hosting service. If these cookies are not set, basic functions of our website are impossible, such as the general display and technical execution of our webshop. For this reason, the setting of these cookies on the end device is technically absolutely necessary.As part of Shopify's aforementioned services, data may also be transmitted to Shopify Inc, 150 Elgin St, Ottawa, ON K2P 1L4, Canada, Shopify Data Processing (USA) Inc, Shopify Payments (USA) Inc or Shopify (USA) Inc as part of further processing on behalf of Shopify. In the event that data is transferred to Shopify Inc. in Canada, the adequate level of data protection is guaranteed by an adequacy decision of the European Commission. If Shopify then sends that personal data to a country outside of Canada (for example, if Shopify sends that data to their sub-processors), that data is protected by contractual obligations comparable to those in standard data protection clauses of the European Union. SevDesk
We use the digital accounting system of the service provider sevDesk GmbH, Hauptstraße 115, 77652 Offenburg, Germany ("SevDesk"). On our behalf, SevDesk collects personal and other data from users who shop in our online store. After a purchase is made in our store, the online store (Shopify) transmits such data (including name, address) to SevDesk. There, a user profile is created and the data is stored. The data is used to create invoices automatically. The data is stored by SevDesk GmbH on a server in Germany, so SevDesk is also subject to the DSGVO to the same extent when processing and storing the data. The processing by SevDesk is based on Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) DSGVO due to our legitimate interest to create lawful invoices and is also carried out in the context of the fulfillment of contractual obligations on our part due to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b) DSGVO.Further information about the data protection of SevDesk you can find under this link.

Passing on of data for shipping notification
Based on your express consent, with or after your order, we will pass on your email address and telephone number to the shipping service provider selected by you in accordance with Art. 6 (1) point 1 lit. a GDPR, so that they can contact you before delivery for the purpose of delivery notification or coordination.

Fulfilment of transaction

Depending on the selected payment method, we pass on necessary data to the service providers who process orders and transactions for us, or to the commissioned credit institutions or to the selected payment service provider. We only pass on the data necessary for processing the payment transaction and only to the extent that it is necessary for processing the payment. The transmission serves the fulfillment of the contract and is based on Art. 6 (1) point 1 lit. b GDPR. In some cases, the payment service providers collect the data required for processing the payment themselves, e.g. on their own website or via a technical integration in the ordering process.

PayPal
One payment method possible in our webshop is PayPal Express. PayPal Express is operated by PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. & Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg as the responsible party. For more information, please see PayPal's privacy statement.

Klarna
Possible payment methods in our webshop are Pay later with Klarna or Pay now with Klarna. Both payment methods are operated by Klarna Bank AB (publ), Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm. For more information, please see Klarna's privacy policy.

Hotjar heatmapping

We use Hotjar across our domain ‘flasher.tech’ in order to better understand our users’ needs and to optimize the website. Hotjar is a service that helps us better understand our users’ experience (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.) and this enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback. Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on our users’ behavior and their devices. This includes a device's IP address (processed during your session and stored in a de-identified form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), and the preferred language used to display our website. Hotjar stores this information on our behalf in a pseudonymized user profile. Google Services for website analysis and advertisement

We use technologies of Google Ireland Ltd, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). The information automatically collected by Google technologies about your use of our website is usually transmitted to and stored by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with Google for the use of Google Analytics, which obliges Google to protect the data of our site visitors and not to pass it on to third parties. For the transfer of data from the EU to the USA, Google refers to so-called standard data protection clauses of the European Commission. This ensures compliance with the European level of data protection in the USA. If your IP address is collected via Google technologies, it is shortened before being stored on Google servers by activating IP anonymization. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server and shortened there. Unless otherwise specified for the individual technologies, the data processing is based on an agreement concluded for the respective technology between jointly responsible parties in accordance with Art. 26 GDPR. Google Analytics
Google (Universal) Analytics 4 ("Google Analytics") automatically collects and stores data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website). This enables an analysis of the use of our website by creating user profiles, whereby cookies may be used. An IP address transmitted by the user's browser will not be merged with other data from Google. In addition, the IP address on our website will only be recorded by Google in abbreviated form, which ensures anonymization and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about the identity (so-called IP masking). On our behalf, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating users’ use of the website and compiling reports on website activity. The data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of Art 6 para 1 lit a (consent) and/or f (legitimate interest) of the GDPR. Our interest in terms of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offers and our website.Google Analytics also enables the creation of statistics with statements about the age, gender and interests of site visitors based on an evaluation of interest-based advertising and using third-party information via a special function, the so-called "demographic characteristics". This allows the definition and differentiation of user groups of the website for the purpose of targeting marketing measures. Google Ads (formerly Google AdWords)
We use the services of Google Ads to place advertisements about our product on external websites with the help of advertising media (so-called Google Adwords Conversion). We can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are in relation to the data of the advertising campaigns. Our aim is to show you advertising that really interests you. The data is collected by a cookie, which is set when a user clicks on an ad from Google Ads.We use the so-called conversion tracking cookie for website analysis and event tracking and to see how users use our website when they come to our website via a Google Ad.All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading information on the end device used, will only be carried out if you expressly consent to this in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 a) GDPR. Without this consent, Google Ads Conversion Tracking will not be used on our website.

Google Tag Manager
We use the Google Tag Manager as an auxiliary service. This itself processes personal data only for technically necessary purposes. The Google Tag Manager takes care of loading other components, which in turn may collect data. The Google Tag Manager does not access this data.Further information on the Google Tag Manager can be found in Google's privacy policy.Under certain circumstances, American authorities, such as intelligence agencies, may be able to gain access to personal data that is inevitably exchanged with Google on the basis of the Internet Protocol (TCP) when this service is integrated, due to American laws such as the Cloud Act. To protect the data of our users in the USA, we have concluded a data processing agreement ("Data Protection Addendum") with Google based on the currently applicable standard contractual clauses of the European Commission to enable the transfer of your personal data to Google. For the use of the tag manager, we have concluded an order processing agreement with Google.

Facebook

Facebook Pixel
We use the Facebook Pixel as part of the technologies of Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook (by Meta)" or "Meta Platforms Ireland") described below.The Facebook Pixel automatically collects and stores data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, as well as information on the use of our website based on events specified by us, such as a visit to a website or newsletter registration), from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms.In addition, as part of the so-called extended data matching, information is collected and stored hashed for matching purposes, with which individuals can be identified (e.g. names, e-mail addresses and telephone numbers).For this purpose, a cookie is automatically set by the Facebook Pixel when visiting our website, which automatically enables browser recognition when visiting other websites by means of a pseudonymous CookieID. If you are registered with a Facebook service, Facebook (by Meta) can assign the visit to this account. Facebook (by Meta) will combine this information with other data from the Facebook account and use it to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website use, in particular personalized and group-based advertising. The information automatically collected by Facebook (by Meta) technologies about the use of our website is usually transferred to a server of Meta Platforms, Inc, 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA and stored there.Similar to Google, there is no adequacy decision of the European Commission for the USA. Insofar as the transfer of data to the USA falls within our responsibility, our cooperation is based on standard data protection clauses of the European Commission. Facebook Ads (Ad Manager)
Through Facebook Ads, we advertise this website on Facebook (by Meta) as well as on other platforms. We determine the parameters of the respective advertising campaign. Facebook (by Meta) is responsible for the implementation, in particular the decision on the placement of the ads with individual users. Unless otherwise specified for the individual technologies, data processing is carried out on the basis of an agreement between joint controllers pursuant to Art. 26 GDPR. The joint responsibility is limited to the collection of the data and its transmission to Meta Platforms Ireland. The subsequent data processing by Meta Platforms Ireland is not covered by this.On the basis of the statistics on visitor activity on our website generated via Facebook Pixel, we operate group-based advertising on Facebook (by Meta) via Facebook Custom Audience by determining the characteristics of the respective target group.Within the scope of the extended data matching that takes place to determine the respective target group (see above), Facebook (by Meta) acts as our processor.Based on the pseudonymous cookie ID set by the Facebook Pixel and the data collected about users’ usage behavior on our website, we conduct personalized advertising via Facebook Pixel remarketing.Via Facebook Pixel Conversions, we measure a user’s subsequent usage behavior for web analytics and event tracking when a user reaches our website via an ad from Facebook Ads. The data processing takes place on the basis of an agreement on commissioned processing by Facebook (by Meta).

Lead Ads
We also use Facebook's "Lead Ads" function to collect and process certain personal data from interested parties - so-called leads - via a contact form displayed on Facebook websites (so-called "Instant Form"). The content and scope of the data requested in this form depends on the focus of the respective lead campaign. The processing of the data is strictly linked to the purposes pursued with the respective lead ad campaign. These purposes are clearly stated in the Lead Ad or on the form provided before the data, which the user provides, is transmitted. The data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of section 165 paragraph 3 TKG 2021 as well as Art 6 (1) lit a (consent) and/or f (legitimate interest) of the GDPR. Our interest in terms of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offer and the relevance of our advertisements for interested parties.According to the information provided by Facebook, Facebook stores the IP address when our Facebook page is visited. According to Facebook, this is anonymized and deleted after a period of time. In addition, Facebook stores information of end devices used for the visit. Through the assignment of IP addresses, it is possible that individual users can be identified here.Facebook also stores cookies with the Facebook identifier of users on their end device if this user is logged into Facebook. This cookie allows Facebook to track page views within Facebook. This applies to our Facebook page as well as to Facebook pages of other providers. If users use a Facebook button that is embedded in a website, Facebook can associate this use with their profile. This makes it possible for Facebook to offer advertising that results from specific user behavior. If you wish to avoid this, you must first log out of Facebook before visiting our Facebook page and deactivate the "stay logged in" function. Facebook Analysis
As part of the Facebook Business Tools, statistics on user activity on our website are created from the data collected with the Facebook Pixel about the use of our website. Data processing is carried out on the basis of a data processing agreement (DPA) by Facebook (by Meta). Their analysis serves the optimal presentation and marketing of our website.
